Chief Engineer, Integrations
2025 – 2026- Owned an AI agent chatbot initiative end-to-end. Identifying which capabilities mattered most to users through scoping and technical execution. Connecting our platform to Canvas and Microsoft APIs for real-time course, assignment, and advisor data, plus write-back for submissions and appointment booking.
- Identified a cost and compliance risk early (Instructure's move to usage-based Canvas API pricing). Scoped and built a caching strategy plus GCloud-based usage dashboards. Resulted in a 40% projected cost reduction across 160+ customers.
- Built an internal AI-powered developer tool that scaffolds boilerplate and accelerates how the team ships integrations. Identified the workflow gap, defined the tool's scope, and led its build.
- Defined and tracked engineering KPIs using a custom GitHub GraphQL data pipeline; used the metrics to build a coaching framework for the team.
- Led hiring and onboarding for the developer and QA teams, translating org needs into role definitions and interview processes; multiple hires went on to earn promotions.
- Oversaw two engineering teams spanning the full integrations stack: the standard recipe catalog and the underlying infrastructure engine.

2023 – 2025- Took Pathify's standard integrations offering from concept to self-service product. Led a team of 4 engineers to build a catalog of pre-built "recipes" spanning major SIS/LMS platforms (Canvas, Banner, Workday, Salesforce, and others), turning what had been one-off custom implementations into a repeatable, scalable product.
- Partnered directly with Product to plan sprints across multiple teams and shape the roadmap based on customer and engineering input.
- Designed the CI/CD deployment strategy hosting a web component library, recipe catalog, and documentation sites.
Junior Developer
2020 – 2023- Ran discovery directly with institutional clients to understand their technical and workflow needs, then delivered hands-on implementation. Early exposure to the full arc from customer problem to shipped solution.
- Identified the need for and built the company's support infrastructure from scratch, designing workflows and leading a team of Implementation Consultants.
